Zenistic teaches in the integrative, breath based style of Hatha yoga. Pranayama, ujjayi breath, and meditation are the core of our practice. Connecting mind to body, wrapping movement with breath, movement of inner body energies, becoming present, focusing your energy, reconnecting with yourself and connecting to community are all things you will discover through a hatha yoga practice. Origin and Evolution
Zenistic Yoga creates unique and enriching experiences for students to enjoy and community is the core of our foundation. What started out as a personal journey has grown into transformative yoga teaching experience intended to enrich the lives of students. If you are looking for an intense, fast paced, vigorous practice you will not find that with us and we are happy to recommend another teacher in the community to you for a more intense style. You likely will find you are challenged in ways you may have not expected and you will be encouraged in growth- mentality, physically, and emotionally -through both practice and connection in community.
We are working to create a community where we put aside preconceived ideas and judgement and instead choose to lean into curiosity to learn, accept, and hold safe space for all.
We are committed to holding inclusive space for all folks. We are neurodivergent friendly and our students and guests are encouraged to engage in a way that works for them.
WHO WE ARE

Founder
For over a decade, I've found solace and balance in the practice of yoga. It has been my sanctuary, allowing me to reconnect with my body and quiet my mind. Yet, during this journey, I discovered that yoga isn't always accessible. It's often expensive to engage in classes or studio membership and tailored only to specific body types and flexibility levels. I'm on a mission to change that narrative and show that yoga can be integrated for expansion, on and off the mat, by anyone.
My own experience with yoga is deeply personal. It has not only helped me manage chronic neck pain, a result of my former passion for training horses, but it has also been my anchor in times of mental turbulence. Through yoga, I've learned the power of mindfulness, the art of deep breathing, and the beauty of simply being present.
Currently, I'm on the path to becoming a certified Hatha yoga instructor with a 200-hour teacher training program. My training journey has virtually taken me to the tranquil shores of Bali, where I’m immersing myself in the wisdom of Akasha Yoga School. I’m blessed to be on this journey with beautiful people from all over the world!
My approach to yoga is grounded in inclusivity, authenticity, and approachability. My practice style is centered in Hatha yoga, steeped in breath and connected to mindfulness. In Hatha each pose is enveloped with breath, ujjayi breathing grounding connection to body and releasing the mind, this pranayama creating somatic awareness, and meditation bridging body, mind, and spirit.
I want you to know you can reach out to me and that I'm here to help you on your yoga journey, regardless of your experience level or body type.
